US loses, but Holland rolls on!
WORLD CUP!
Holland’s Got Talent
We just finished the first set of auditions for this season of Holland’s Got Talent and it was an experience. First of all, the level of talent was incredible. I expected a few good acts, but we saw everything from dancers and singers to dogs and beatboxers. Really, I could not have asked for much more. Of course, there was no shortage of the bizarre, and my stomach hurts from laughing so much. Part of that is due to a few acts, and part of it is because of Gordon. For those of you who don’t know him…well, I don’t think I can possibly explain. Simply put, he is relentlessly hysterical. He had Patricia (the other judge) and I speechless on multiple occasions. In typical Dutch fashion, he is a tall, tall man. Him standing between Patricia and me makes for a pretty ridiculous sight, as you can see from this picture. Needless to say, we had a really good time and I’m looking forward to this season.
And how about the World Cup?!!! Experiencing it from Europe is an entirely different thing, and I love it. Of course, my heart is with the US, but I’m rooting for Holland too! GOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!!!!! Sent via BlackBerry from T-MobileDance…Talent…and more!
